A thematic comparison of Şükran Kurdakul's stories and poems

Şükran Kurdakul belongs to the 1940 Socialist Realist generation. He showed himself in various fields as a poet, writer and literary historian, not only writing poetry, but also producing works on various genres. This study, which consists of two parts, covers the thematic comparison of Şükran Kurdakul's stories and poems. While analyzing the writer's stories and poems in terms of themes, the evaluation of his stories and poems is also emphasized. Apart from the works of Şükran Kurdakul, it is aimed to present the subject we have dealt with as a whole by referring to magazines, newspapers and studies on it. At the end of the study, it was seen that Şükran Kurdakul was one of the members of the 1940 Socialist Realist generation; Similarities were tried to be expressed in line with the common themes in Kurdakul's stories and poems.
