Abstract (EN)

The developments in the field of Islamic finance are increasing day by day and they offer various alternatives especially in investment and finance. The Islamic financial market, which is being preferred by investors, attracts both Muslim and non-Muslim investors. The most important reason for preferring the tools in the Islamic financial market is that it carries less risk for its investor and is a trusted market. Participation banks are actively involved in the functioning of the Islamic financial market. In line with the explanations made, it is the aim of the study to identify the problems encountered in the marketing of sukuk (lease certificate), which is an Islamic financial instrument issued by participation banks. In the study, data were obtained by using interview (face to face) method with four different participation banks. In line with the findings obtained, participation banks engaged in sukuk marketing activities were examined for problems arising from banks, customers, contracts and personnel. As a result of the study, necessary solutions were proposed for these problems.
