Abstract (EN)
The lives of the Ottoman sultans have generally been considered as an extension of political history. For this reason, the area they cover in the literature has been in direct proportion with the activities they showed politically. Studies focusing on their personal aspects rather than their sultanate and political activities are few. This study draws attention to this shortcoming and focuses on the individual life, activities, tastes and preferences of Sultan Mustafa III. For this purpose, since the birth of Mustafa III, who was born on January 28, 1717, his years as the Sultan's son, his enthronement, his migrations during his reign, his boating and riding (binis), his going about in disguise (tebdil) and Friday greetings (selamlik) were examined in detail. In addition, detailed information was given about the religious and scientific activities that Mustafa was interested in, besides these, his wives and children, and his illnesses and death were also narrated at full length. Keywords: Mustafa III, Hibetullah Sultan, Selim III, Mihrişah Sultan, Riding / Boating (Biniş), Immigration, Going about in Disguise (Tebdil), Friday divine service parade (Cuma Selamlığı), Tafsir Lesson, Huzur Dersleri, Ilm al-Nujum, Astrology.
