Abstract (EN)

Our work consists of three parts. In the first part, the dictionary, term and cultural meaning of orphan is emphasized, and the usage practices of orphans in non-Islamic societies are mentioned. In the second grade, The value of the Prophet towards orphans was explained, and in the third place, the orphans mentioned in Sunen-i Nesai were analyzed with hadiths, scripts and texts. In the period of ignorance, orphans were oppressed and bullied, their property was illegally usurped. With Islam, these injustices and many ill-treatments against orphans are put to an end. Orphans are mentioned twenty-three times in twenty-two verses in the Qur'an. This situation shows the importance that international Islam gives to orphans. One of the most emphasized expressions in the Qur'an is the need for and the care of orphans. Since our religion attaches great importance to orphans and orphans' property, it was the first time in the Qur'an to emphasize accepting orphans and treating them fairly. The Prophet, insistently recommended the necessary duty against orphans who are entrusted by Allah, Prophet encouraged this by expressing that stroking their head softens the heart as well as protecting orphans. The Messenger of Allah, hosted many orphans in his house, and as in every other issue, he became the best example for his ummah with the value he gave to orphans.
