Abstract (EN)

The person-to-person transfer of information originates from communication, and this process continues with the communication materials used from cave paintings to written and oral transmissions. With the help of visual communication resources, it becomes easier to explain the information by presenting it correctly. In order to increase awareness, convey a new idea or initiative correctly and bring it to life, explanations were made about the use of correct presentation techniques and effective information design as a result of the research on this thesis. Within the framework of TÜBİTAK 1512 Entrepreneurship Support Program BiGG, which is the core audience of the thesis, interviews were held with 10 companies that applied more than once with the same business idea, with an action research design, and in the light of the collected data, the business plan presentations of the companies in the evaluation panels were evaluated. In this direction, the panelists who evaluated the business plans were questioned on topics like why they were not chosen in their first application, what kind of differences there were in the presentations they made in their other applications, and to what extent they used visual communication materials in these presentations. As a result; in the light of the data obtained from the interviews, it was evaluated whether the visual communication design contributed to the BiGG support process, and in this direction, It is hoped that it will be useful research.
