Abstract (EN)
Electric power systems utilize specific storage technologies for uninterrupted power supply, and these technologies' capacities must be optimal and reliable. This way, the power system can continue to operate regularly and sustainably without the need for sudden interruptions from specific production units or unexpected increases in load. To achieve this goal, the optimal capacity level, which is one of the resources used by the system to prevent unforeseen failures, must be maintained. In this study, the optimum storage amount is determined by considering three parameters: production costs, line losses, and reliability, during the allocation of supercapacitors. In a 15-bar system, the appropriate storage cost is analyzed by separately calculating each of these three influencing factors and examining eight different scenarios. The calculations reveal that the impact of line losses is minimal, and the most suitable outcome is obtained concerning production costs and reliability. Consequently, it is recommended that the most appropriate planning for sustainable and uninterrupted electricity supply in power systems be made with the correct policies when allocating reserves to units.
