The role of accounting auditing in sustainable company success

Accounting; a system in which the activities carried out in the business are recorded and classified, analyzed and finally are made ready for interpretation. According to another definition, accounting is the interpretation and measurement of the results of economic activities. Audit; is the comparison between the situation that emerges as the result of the activities of the business and the targeted situation. In other words, to determine whether the operator has achieved the objectives set out in the business management as a result of its activities. Accounting Auditing; a system in which the findings of a company are checked in order to determine whether the financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and the findings are evaluated in an organized audit report. Success is defined as achieving what is targeted as meaning, while if business is a success, continuity refers to growth, comparing actual situation to target situation. There are many definitions related to sustainability. However, according to generally accepted definition, sustainability; a situation or process can be defined as the ability or ability to continue for an indefinite period of time. Sustainable business success is a continuation of a business success. A sustainable business success depends on a sound accounting system and an impartial and quality audit of this system.
