Desing of pre-school educational structure based in sustainability principle and investigation of physical factors in terms of occupational health safety

Playground is an important learning factor for preschool children. The design of the educational structure in accordance with children's learning of teaching spaces and playgrounds and the selection of materials to be used in the building are important for the health and safety needs of teachers and children. In addition, in order to meet the other needs of children, service areas and administrative departments should be considered child-centered during the design phase, and at the same time, the necessary vital areas should be determined and arranged for those working in this education structure. In the first part, it is mentioned that the need for pre-school education structures of children gradually covers the early periods and that these structures evolve to the principle of sustainability in line with the demand. In the second part, the conceptual definitions of pre-school education structures, sustainability and physical factors of occupational health and safety, together with child-centered education approaches and spatial organizations of preschool education structures are emphasized and the necessary conditions for designing an education structure with a sustainable education approach are examined by examining the design requirements. content is supported. In the third part, an exemplary preschool education structure was planned and tried to be designed in the light of the information gathered in the first and second parts. In this sense, the settlement of the building, the building form that will enable the children to realize their learning life in a child-centered education dynamically has been determined, and the design has been evaluated in terms of sustainability principles and occupational health and safety physical factors as a result of the researches made in terms of the carrier structure and the materials to be used in the building. As a result of the stages reached in the conclusion section, the importance of considering occupational health and safety in terms of employees and students at the design stage, especially the physical effects of occupational health and safety of sustainability criteria in the design of the pre-school education structure, in the organization of the space and the use of materials has been emphasized.
