Occupational health and safety awareness levels and drafts of permanent worker: a field research specific to Bayburt University

Occupational Health and Safety, which is close to law, sociology, psychology, and ethics outside the triangle of health, safety, and business concepts, is restricted to the concepts of law and consciousness, which works phenomenologically in this thesis. The purpose of this study is to measure the awareness of the permanent workers about the legal practices, legislation, and initiatives in the field of Occupational Health and Safety, as well as their subjective evaluations, to measure the drafts that will contribute to the process. In this way, business awareness, which has been measured many times in the literature, was examined at the legal level and individual designs. The questionnaire, which was prepared for the problems and sub-problems within the scope of the purpose, was applied with the participation of 148 permanent workers working at Bayburt University selected as the study area and a process reading was carried out on the findings. According to the research findings, although permanent workers know the Occupational Health and Safety legislation well, they think that this legislation needs complementary contributions. Permanent workers who imagine the process as a multifaceted complex are of the opinion that the role and responsibility awareness of the employee cannot be achieved only by laws, but they believe that the contribution of the laws will bring the awareness of the employee and the employer to a better performance point.
