Abstract (EN)
The establishment of lien, which is a kind of the limited real right, for a certain period of time and the consequences of this established period in terms of the lien were examined. In this context, the establishment of limited real rights to a limited-period, the effect of the period on these rights, the establishment of the lien depending on the period, the period factor in terms of lien types, the problem of establishing a very long term limited lien, the effects of the term on the lien and the termination of the time-limied lien are examined. While making this examination, the provision of Article 883/2 of the Turkish Civil Code, which was added to the TCC with the 19th article of the Law No. 7181 and entered into force on 01/01/2020, has been evaluated and it has been tried to determine what the regulation means in terms of the termination of the lime-limited lien.
