Özet (EN)

The Syrian Civil War, which started with the Arab Spring in 2011, affected not only the Syrian people but also other countries in the region. As a result of the Syrian Civil War, approximately 13 million Syrians became refugees, and the refugees took refuge in regional countries, especially Turkey. In this thesis study, we tried to analyze the effects of refugees migrating from Syria to Turkey on Turkish politics, economy and socio-cultural structure. The thesis consists of 4 chapters. In the first chapter, the purpose, justification, assumptions and limitations of the thesis are mentioned. In the second part of the thesis, the history of Syria is divided into periods and examined under the title of Ottoman and French Mandate. In the third chapter of the thesis, the Arab Spring and the Syrian Civil War are mentioned. In the last part of the thesis, the effects of Syrian refugees on the Turkish political, economic and socio-cultural structure are analyzed. According to the results obtained, it is seen that the negative side of the effects of Syrian refugees on Turkish politics, economy and socio-cultural structure outweighs.
