Abstract (EN)

In this study, MMK samples were produced by T/M production method. In the study, 10% by weight of Sn powder were mixed with Cu powder as matrix material. 2%, 4%, 6% B4C reinforcement powder was mixed into the Cu+10%Sn matrix powder mixture. After mixing, the samples were obtained by pressing the powders unidirectionally with 500 MPa pressure. Since two different sintering temperatures were determined, a total of eight samples were pressed, two from each powder mixture. The first four grinding compact samples obtained were sintered at 600 ºC and the other four series at 700 ºC. Sanding and polishing of the sintered samples were carried out for microstructure investigations. After polishing, the samples were etched. Then, the microstructures of the samples were examined under an optical microscope and images were taken at different magnifications. SEM images were taken, in addition, EDS and XRD analyzes were performed to identify the elements in the structure of the samples condusted and the compounds formed by temperature. Finally, the hardness measurements and wear test were made and the experimental studies were completed. The results of the samples sintered at 600 ºC and 700 ºC were compared and with each other compared. As a result, the formation of the liquid phase in the structure with the increase in temperature caused an increase in hardness and wear resistance. The highest hardness value and wear resistance were determined in Cu+10%Sn+6% B4C sample sintered at 700 ºC.
