The mediating role of knowledge sharing in the effect of team cohesion on innovative work behavior: A study on Technopark company employees

This study provides a comprehensive analysis to understand how team cohesion influences innovative work behaviors. Team cohesion can promote behaviors such as innovative thinking and risk-taking through cohesion and collaboration among team members. Knowledge sharing is a critical factor that strengthens communication and collaboration among members in teams. The study emphasized that knowledge sharing plays an important mediating role in the relationship between team cohesion and innovative work behaviors. This research examines the link between team cohesion, knowledge sharing and innovation, particularly from the perspective of technoparks. Technoparks are spaces where businesses, research institutions and entrepreneurs come together to develop innovative solutions and where technological advances are decisively supported. In this context, technoparks provide an environment that can strengthen the impact of team cohesion and knowledge sharing on innovative work behavior. This academic study will make an important contribution to understanding the relationships between team cohesion, knowledge sharing and innovative work behaviors in teams. The results of the study provide valuable insights that can be useful for both enhancing university and business collaboration and promoting innovation. Within the scope of the study, a survey was conducted in Tokat Technopark companies and the results were analyzed. Structural equation modeling was used to test the research hypotheses. The results are in line with the studies in the literature and it is determined that team cohesion and knowledge sharing positively affect innovative work behavior.
