Özet (EN)

Aim on this scientific work is to develop physical properties of wall tile by adding determined proportion of wollastonite and talc (5-10-15% as weight). For this purpose, wall tile granule mass was obtained from Altın Seramik A.Ş. Tile Fabric. After wollastonite and talc were grinded, powder composition was prepared according to prescription. Prepared granules were shaped in 200×200 mm steel mold under 165 bar pressure with unique eclipse hydraulic press. Shaped items were dried at room temperature for 3 hours then at 85 °C for 21 hours in drying oven. Dried samples were sintered at 1130 °C for 34 minutes suitable with company conditions. Sintered samples water absorption and firing resistances were examined to prove being in the quality of TS EN 14411 standard. In this scientific work, x-beam fluorescence analysis on wall tile granules, talc and wollastonite, granule dimension analysis, humidity appointment analysis, thermo gravimetric and differential thermal analysis on prepared powder according to prescription, firing behavior of sintered samples, density with He pycnometer, x-beam diffraction analysis to determine crystallographic phase structure, and scanning electron microscope analysis to determine microstructure were made.
