Abstract (EN)

Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the stress generated by different substructure materials in All-on-4 prostheses in completely edentulous upper jaws on the bone, substructure, and implant systems under traumatic forces using FEA. Materials and Methods: This study was conducted in collaboration between the Faculty of Dentistry at Eskişehir Osmangazi University and Tinus Technologies. Co-Cr, Ti, Zr, PEEK, and G-PMMA were used as substructure materials. A functional force of 150 N, a frontal force of 2000 N, and a bruxism force of 125:250:500 N for canine:premolar:molar were applied. FEA was used in the study. The analysis results obtained the Von Mises, maximum, and minimum principal stress values in MPa. The stresses in the bone were interpreted based on the principal stresses, while the stresses on the implant components and substructure were interpreted based on the Von Mises stresses. Findings: Findings: Under all loading conditions, maximum principal stresses in cortical bone and maximum and minimum principal stresses in trabecular bone were obtained in the order Co-Cr
