Vocal works of Tanburi Cemil examination to as the maqam

This research aims to contribute to the repertoire of Turkish music vocal work by examining and interpreting the vocal works of Tanbûrî Cemîl Bey in terms of maqam and transition. The study is a descriptive research based on the screening model in terms of general framework, purpose and method. The preliminary information was obtained by scanning various sources related to the subject, and all the vocal works of Tanbûrî Cemîl Bey, who took place in the sample as a data collection tool, were used. Tanbûrî Cemîl Bey, considered as the greatest virtuoso in the history of Turkish Music, has 19 vocal works he composed with the great mastery besides the instrumental works. In this work, 19 vocal works of Tanbûrî Cemîl Bey are examined in terms of their maqam and transition.
