Abstract (EN)
In this study, socio-economic status of the Vidin, that was one of the Ottoman cities in Balkan region in 19th century is examined from various aspects based on archives. Temettuat notebooks of the 1844 year is studied and beign tried to reach detailed information about socio-economic status of the region through details about population, job types, agriculture, stockbreeding, annual revenue and taxes etc.
