Abstract (EN)

Psychology and literature have parallel features in terms of both the subjects they deal with and their epistemological aspects. In particular, the unconscious becoming a scientific paradigm and studies on the creative acts of the human mind in this way have provided new explanations on the theories of art and literature. Literature, which deals with almost everything about the subject, has expanded the field of meaning as a result of the effects of psychology, and psychology has developed hypothetical propositions through the accumulation of literature. As a result of all these, psychoanalysis, which is used as a theoretical method in the analysis of narrative texts, continues to be an important field in terms of literary studies. One of the application areas of psychoanalytic literary theory is novels, which is a type of narrative. In this study, in general terms, various analyzes will be made on the type of novel that emerged with the formation phase of Modern Turkish Literature and continues until today, based on the psychoanalytic literary theory approach. In this context, there are two main areas identified in the study. The first of these is the novel as a literary genre and one of the fields of study of the science of literature, and the other is the psychoanalytic theory of art.
