Approaches and techniques in conservation of historical places case study: Urban historic districts in Doğu Karadeniz region

SUMMARY Approaches and Techniques in Conservation of the Historical Places Case Study: Urban Historic Districts in Doğu Karadeniz Region This research, which aims to observe today's interpretation of the conservation approaches storting with the 1 9th century with their historical process and the differences in applications of these approaches, is explained in there sections. In the first section, die purpose and method of the research is explained and also information on theoretical background of the subject is slated. In the second section, the research is supported with case study in order to gain more realistic results. The case study including photographs, observations and interviews, is applied in the Urban Sites in Doğu Karadeniz Region. In the third section with the findings of the research, some suggestions aiming to solve the problems in conservation approaches in urban historical districts are given.
