Özet (EN)
People have built houses that meet their needs from birth till death because of the protection instinct. Turkish communities that become sedentary created spaces in accordance with their life styles. These spaces give us clues about their value judgements, privacy awaraness, the value of family, unity and solidarity, the ability of living together etc.The buildings in Anatolian that is seen in the geography of Turks named as Turkish houses and in the process of time, they progressed and changed in the direction of geographical location, building materials, traditions of the people. In our study, Historical Turkish Houses in İnebolu, Kastamonu which are unique in Turkey, in touch with nature, with red achre (FeO) and indigeneous is examined. In the first part; geographical location, historical and sociocultural structure of İnebolu In the second part; the characteristics and historical development of Turkish houses, definition, house plan, frontispiece and material specification. In the third part ; historical houses in İnebolu are presented in the form of catolog. In the fourth part ; the conclusion is included by evaluating about the architectural of İnebolu Houses.
