Abstract (EN)
Tarık Tufan was born on June 5, 1973 in Istanbul. He graduated from Kabataş High School for Boys. He graduated from the Philosophy Department of Istanbul University. He completed his master's degree at Marmara University, Institute of Middle East and Islamic Countries, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Department of Middle East Sociology with his study titled Turkmen Minority in Iraq and Immigrants from Kirkuk. The author, whose articles were published in many newspapers and magazines, presented programs on literary conversation on television channels. He took part in the programs called Dream Vakitleri on Marmara Fm, Mexican Border on Ülke TV, and Kafa Dengi on 24 TV. He wrote the screenplay of the TV series Mahşer in 2008 and Postponed Lives in 2009. In 2009, he prepared the documentaries A Sultan in Purgatory: Abdulhamid and in 2010 Mimar Sinan 8 Countries 8 Directors on the channel Al Jazeera Documentary. Tarık Tufan, who is one of the screenwriters of the films "Zar Ihtimal" and "Yozgat Blues", won the best screenplay award at the Istanbul Film Festival in 2009 with the film "Light Ihtimal" and the best screenplay award at the Golden Boll Festival in 2013 with the film Yozgat Blues. Some of his novels have been translated into Albanian, Bosnian, Azerbaijani Turkish, Arabic and Bulgarian. The writer, who lives in Istanbul, writes for various magazines and continues to work on literature and screenplays. Tarık Tufan, who has ten books in the field of literature; Apart from the novel, he also produced works in genres such as stories, essays and poetry. He is one of the young generation writers of Turkish literature. He published his first book, Stuttering Children's Chorus, in 2000. Afterwards, the Queen's Fleas (2002), And You Become a Bird and You Go (2004), Indistinct (2007), A Man Entered the City Running (2010), Champs-Elysées Wedding Hall (2015), Don't Give Me To Them (2017), While Falling (2018) He wrote the books Lost (2020) and Late (2021) In his books, Tarık Tufan generally wrote about daily life, identity problems and human existence using a naive style of expression. With this study, Tarık Tufan's life, art and works will be examined; The novels of the author will be discussed in detail and evaluated in terms of technical and material elements.
