Abstract (EN)
This study, in order to contribute to the solution of the concerns about the future of agricultural production area, the initiatives for the design oriented solution of the agricultural problems that are predicted to emerge in future generations are examined. New product development (NPD) processes are important for technology-oriented product designs of enterprises producing agricultural tools. In this study, the relationship between the Industrial Design (ID) discipline and the NPD processes of the enterprises that produce agricultural machinery and technologies is examined. In the study, human vehicle interaction in the historical process from the emergence of agriculture is examined and the field in which ID takes place in the historical process is defined in parallel with the development of agricultural production techniques. The human-vehicle relationship has been transformed into an interaction between the human-machine relationship by developing production relations under the influence of the agricultural, industrial and technology revolutions. ID started to come to the forefront in agriculture with other disciplines. The correct production of products is an absolute condition for the sustainability of the applications. The functions involved in the process should be integrated into each other and work in full harmony. In particular, and primarily the relationship between NPD processes and ID discipline is a major factor in the correct construction of these functions. In this thesis, this relationship was examined in the agricultural machinery production sector and it was observed that the process components should be defined correctly and the processes should be arranged for interdisciplinary applications.
