Abstract (EN)

This study analyzes the agricultural production dynamics of Karapınar district between 2014-2023 and examines the effects of agricultural incentives, average temperature and total precipitation on agricultural production. Data were obtained from reliable sources such as the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, TÜİK and the General Directorate of Meteorology. Regression analyses revealed that agricultural incentives (LNSP) had a positive and significant effect on production, while the effects of temperature (LNT) and precipitation (LNR) variables were low-level and statistically insignificant. The research results show that agricultural incentives have an important role in the increase in production in the region, but climatic variables have a limited effect. The study findings suggest that agricultural policies should be restructured in line with the needs of the region, modern agricultural techniques should be encouraged and training programs for farmers should be strengthened. The establishment of regional development strategies and the implementation of environmental sustainability practices are of critical importance in terms of increasing the agricultural production potential in Karapınar district. This study serves as an important guide in determining and implementing agricultural policies specific to the region.
