Abstract (EN)

Monitoring the agricultural lands is very important that has still big economic value on overall trade in countries such as Turkey. Determining the agricultural pattern and productivity using cost efficient methods like remote sensing will be good to prepare agricultural policies and plans. Nowadays, most of developed countries are used remote sensing technologies to detect agricultural crop pattern and productivity. The aim of this study was to detect agricultural crop pattern between 2007 and 2013 in Lower Seyhan Plane (LSP) applying remote sensing techniques accurately. In this frame, crop pattern in the LSP (wheat, corn, cotton, potato, citrus etc.) were mapped between 2007 and 2013. Additionally, differences of the seasons were evaluated as winter and summer crop patterns. As a result of the study, citrus areas were increased in time regularly except 2013 and productivity of the study area was increased in time because of arable land rising.
