Abstract (EN)
The introduction of thesis titled as "the Concept of Dhikr in Sufism and the Analysis of Imam Birgivi's ar-Risala fi Dhikr al-Jahri" is dealt with of 'the Concept of Dhikr,' and also under the title of 'Dhikr in Sufism', various related issues are examined. The first chapter of the thesis includes a short biography of Imam Birgivi, and his scholarship and works. In the second chapter of the thesis, Birgivi's "ar-Risala fi Dhikri Jahri" is analyzed. The topics which are discussed in this chapter are evaluated together with excerpts from other works of Birgivi. The thesis comes to end with a conclusion and appendixes.
