Abstract (EN)
In this study, outdoor gamma dose rate measurements have been done by using NaI(Tl) scintillation detector in 20 neighborhoods in Tavşanlı county center. Annual effective dose rates have been calculated from the obtained results. Average annual effective dose rate for Tavşanlı county center has been found 106.64±6.20 µSv/year. This obtained result has been compared with other studies for other cities in Turkey and the data taken from Radiation Early Warning System Network of Turkish Atomic Energy Authority.
