A study on Taylor's multicultural theory

The aim of this study is to examine Charles Taylor's policy of recognition, which is a multiculturalism proposal. The purpose of this review is to determine what identity and recognition are; Why identity and recognition are seen as a problem; Whether there are missing aspects of recognition policy; How to avoid the damaging consequences of unrecognition; how to live together; The relationship between multiculturalism and multiculturalism; Taylor's what kind of communitarian is; To determine the position of Taylor communitarians against liberalism and the view of multiculturalism in social, political and educational fields. In this study, first of all, what Taylor's recognition policy is and what it is aimed for, identity and equal recognition and diversity policies are explained. Then, the relationship between multiculturalism and multiculturalism was briefly mentioned, and Taylor's model of multiculturalism and Taylor's views of conservatism were covered through the liberalism debate. In the last section, Kymlicka is used to complete the missing parts of Taylor's recognition policy and the social and political aspects of multiculturalism are discussed. In addition, the view of multiculturalism in education is given in the same section. There are a few points I have tried to show throughout this study. The first of these points is that Taylor's recognition policy is quite general and needs to be reduced to a more specific level in order to be implemented. Another point is that Taylor's view shows an approach between communitarianism and liberalism. Because, contrary to the tradition that is known to be connected, Taylor has a more conciliatory attitude. Because, for all people to live together, it is a prerequisite to love one because he is human. However, there is an issue forgotten by living together, which is the necessity of living together with all living things.
