Abstract (EN)

In this study, the changes in some technological properties of the wood were observed by impregnating Scotch Pine (Pinus Sylvestris L.) wood with "Asphodelus Aestivus L." Extract in accordance with ASTM 1413 76 standard. In this process, in order to determine the effects of Asphodelus Aestivus L. extract on the technological strength of wood, % retention, full dry / air dry specific gravity value, bending resistance, compressive strength, elasticity modulus and dynamic (shock) bending resistance values were determined. According to the experiment results; the maximum 45 minutes vacuum/25 minutes diffusion was determined as the full dry specific gravity value (0.46 g/cm3), the highest air dry specific gravity value (0.468 g/cm3); The highest bending resistance (89.92 N/mm2), the highest pressure resistance (46.19 N/mm2), the highest elastic modulus (7928 N/mm2), the highest dynamic bending resistance (2.38 kpm/cm2) in all mechanical properties of water-based varnish realized
