Relations between supply chain performance criteria and company profitability "example of Çorum province"

In the rapidly changing competitive environment with the effect of globalization as of the 20th century, it has become an indispensable factor for companies to use their resources effectively and efficiently in order to survive and to sustain their competition in the long term. The changing structure of the market and demands, which determine the form of competition between companies, has started to vary according to the networks they are in, rather than competition between companies. It is vital to benefit from the research done in the past, to understand, learn and apply the solutions put forward by the researchers in order to understand the importance of the supply chain more clearly. Numerous studies have been carried out in this regard in the literature. In this study, by making use of the literature and examining the companies that currently manufacture machinery and have a supply network, what the problem is and how to solve it will be a glimmer of hope for these mentioned issues and problems in the research. In addition to the studies in the literature, research questions have been developed to help reveal the problems of enterprises in the supply network. Businesses will have the opportunity to develop an idea on the sources of the problems with the answers to these questions. This thesis study was conducted to investigate the relationships between TZ performance criteria and firm profitability. In order to achieve this aim, a survey was conducted using a likert scale under the headings of information management, consumption, trust, operationality, integration, agility, speed, information quality, SCM performance and firm performance. The survey was conducted on the companies producing in Çorum Small Industrial Site and Organized Industrial Zone. The data obtained as a result of the research were made using the SPSS 24.0 (statistics package for Social Sciences) package program and related analyzes were made. This thesis consists of four parts. In the first part, the problem situation, hypotheses, the purpose, importance, limitations of the research, conceptual model and organizational chart are mentioned. In the second part, information about the concepts of supply, supply chain and supply chain management in the literature is given under the title of conceptual framework. In the third chapter, the research, the universe sample, the questionnaires used, the analysis and methods of the data are mentioned. In the fourth chapter, the results, evaluations and suggestions are mentioned by giving place to the findings obtained within the scope of the research.
