Justice in the Qur'an Tafhimu'l justice

Justice means giving the right to the one who deserves it. The term is used in the sense of obeying Allah's commands and prohibitions. In our study the verses in which justice and related concepts are mentioned are explained in a comparative way. Tafsirs, related articles and books, especially Tafhimul-Qur'an written by Abu'l-A'la al-Mawdudi, have been used. It has been stated that justice is not used only in the field of law, on the contrary, it affects every aspect of life and will affect the hereafter. Cruelty and related concepts that express the opposite of justice have not been addressed in order to keep the issue limited and not to go out of scope. In our study it is aimed to explain the reflection of justice on Tafhimu'l-Kuran tafsir and to reveal the understanding of justice that will shed light from the past to the future. In this context our study has been found important by the fact that individual justice affects social justice and will raise awareness in terms of achieving happiness in this world and the hereafter. The first part of our study was created by giving information about Mawdudi and Tafhimu'l-Quran. The second part of our study contains definitions of justice and related concepts and explanations about the areas in which they are used. Cruelty which means the opposite of justice, and related concepts were also briefly touched upon here. The third part of our study which is really important, contains a comparison of the concept of justice in Tafhimul-Quran and other tafsirs. In the conclusion section of our study the issues focused on throughout the study were evaluated especially Mevdudi's understanding of justice.
