The case of resurrection and aftermath in Tefsîra'l Manar

Doomsday and the hereafter are among the most important of the basic belief principles of the religion of Islam. These occur in many verses of the Quran, sometimes in succession, and sometimes in various places, and are depicted in a way that they can be envisioned in the minds of people. In order for these verses to be understood, the Quran must be read in a holistic manner. In this thesis, the issue of Doomsday and the hereafter is handled from the Tefsîru'l-Menâr window. The commentary in question was written with a rational method, and many verses were interpreted by referring to the data of the mind. There is no doubt that the doomsday and the hereafter are the subject of the unseen entirely. The authors frequently emphasized this situation while dealing with the aforementioned subjects and stated that everything Allah informs about the beyond must be believed without a doubt. On the other hand, they used reason very effectively while explaining many verses, and did not hesitate to interpret the information Allah gave about the hereafter in different ways. However, it should be emphasized here that Abduh and Reşid Rıza, who were the authors of the interpretation of Menâr, differed from each other on many issues, although they thought the same on some issues, although there was a teacher-student relationship. Examples of this are included in the thesis. Menâr, the main source of the study, is an incomplete work due to the incomplete lives of its authors. Abduh, one of the authors, interpreted the aforementioned commentary up to the one hundred and twenty sixth verse of the chapter of an-Nisa, and Reşid Riza, from here on, up to the fifty-second verse of the chapter of Yusuf. Behcet al-Baytar completed the rest. Therefore, while writing the thesis, the subject of Doomsday and the hereafter was discussed as far as it is mentioned in the mentioned verses. Since Abduh also made the interpretation of the places that are called as Amme cuzu, this part was included in the thesis, and the author's views on the Doomsday and the hereafter were reflected in the thesis. In the thesis, the subject of Doomsday and the hereafter are dealt with under separate headings, and the issues related to them are examined under the relevant heading.
