Abstract (EN)
With the developing technology in the lighting industry, different requirements have arisen in LED and LED drivers. As the power LEDs operate at high current values, their operating temperatures will increase. As a result, their useful life and efficiency are reduced. Different driver topologies need to be developed to create more efficient LED structures. Drivers are divided into passive and active LED drivers and are controlled by different control methods. Under the heading of active drivers, switched LED drivers are divided into pulse amplitude modulated drivers and LLC resonant drivers. In this study, it is aimed to design and manufacture 100W and 48V output LED driver with LLC resonant power converter topology operating at 400kHZ resonance frequency. In this context, the main goal of the study is to obtain an LED driver that will provide longer life and high efficiency operation, have better electromagnetic interference, switch at zero current and zero voltage, and meet the EN 61000 3-2 harmonic standard, which has become a necessity in Europe. The content of the study consists of design, analysis, production and experimental studies. In the design, firstly, parameters such as transformer structure, filtering, rectification, power factor protection tank were determined according to the input and output values. The prototype of the driver, whose modeling and analysis studies were completed, was obtained. In the last process, the performance of the driver was obtained under different load conditions with experimental studies. The current and voltage waveforms of the resonant tank components were obtained and the resonance tank voltage was compared with the fundamental harmonic approximation analysis according to the EN 61000 3-2 standard. In addition, power factor, total harmonic distortion and efficiency values, which are important parameters for the LLC resonant driver, were obtained for different load conditions.
