Abstract (EN)

The electrochemical properties of the active ingredient Amiodarone, an antiarrhythmic drug, were investigated using a single-use lead pencil electrode in a BR buffer solution (pH 5.0) environment, using square wave and cyclic voltammetry techniques. In the cyclic voltammetry measurements, it was observed that Amiodarone exhibited a well-defined irreversible oxidation peak at approximately +0.94 V. With the optimized instrument parameters, a linear working range of 0.125 - 6.862 µg/mL for Amiodarone was obtained in the BR buffer solution (pH 5.0) environment. The LOD and LOQ values of the method were determined as 0.027 μg/mL ve 0.089 μg/mL, respectively. These results demonstrate that the developed electrochemical method provides a suitable and reliable analytical approach for the trace-level determination of Amiodarone.
