Explanation of investors using technical analysis method through behavioral finance models: A research in Turkey

There are many ways in financial markets for the owners of savings who want to assess their accumulations. In terms of either the ease of purchase-sale or availability, stock markets are the most preferred market of all. Investors apply different methods of analysis upon stock market to choose stocks to invest. These methods are fundamental analysis, technical analysis, efficient market hypothesis and behavioral finance models. In this study, behavioral finance models and analysis of stock traders who use technical analysis in Turkey and behavioral errors which they fall has been tried to be established. The survey questions have been applied to 420 investors who are using technical analysis, and psychological errors they have done have been identified in the light of data obtained.
