Abstract (EN)
Technology, which has become an indispensable part of life today, is also becoming a source of stress for employees in workplaces due to its development and change at a great speed. The fact that those who work from home are literally more dependent on technology can lead to more technostress experience. Therefore, the main purpose of the research is to examine the effect of technostress perceived by those working from home on cyberloafing and the moderator role of job autonomy and attention control in this relationship. Accordingly, data was collected and analyzed through an online survey from 250 people working from home. Technostress Scale, Cyberloafing Scale, Job Autonomy Scale, Attention Control of Self-Regulation Scale and demographic data form were used in the research. Correlation Analysis, Regression Analysis, Independent t-test and One-way Variance Analysis were used for data analysis. According to the results of the analysis, it was found that techno-invasion and techno-complexity from the subdimensions of technostress had a negative effect on serious cyberloafing. As a result of moderator analysis, it was found that job autonomy and attention control do not have a moderator role in these relationships. In addition, it has been found that the levels of technostress and cyberloafing difference statistically significantly according to some demographic variables. All findings were discussed within the theoretical framework and suggestions for future studies were made.
