Özet (EN)
As a result of global warming, rapid population growth, urbanization and industrial use, available water resources are decreasing day by day. As well as decreasing water resources, contamination of water resources causes serious environmental problems. Nature has difficulties in dealing with this pollution. For these reasons, it is an important parameter increasing the pollution load of wastewater before being discharged and decreasing of the ecosystem to the standards that can be eliminated in its own natural cycle. The textile industry uses a large amount of water, resulting in serious environmental problems with high COD and color values in waste water discharge areas. For these reasons, the treatment of wastewater resulting from the dyeing processes of the textile industry is of great importance. In this study, synthetic wastewater produced by the textile industry as a result of the dyeing processes was prepared by prescribing synthetic wastewater and the efficacy of dyestuff and COD concentration were investigated through activated sludge in the membrane bioreactor system of these wastewater. Synthetic wastewater recipes were prepared using seven different textile dyestuff at 100 ppm concentration and chemicals used in the dye industry. In the purification study for Dimozol Blue BRF 85.6% COD removal and 90.6% decolorization, for Dimozol Yellow ED 71.1% COD removal and 92.3% decolorization, for Dimopers Red S5BLN 92.4% COD removal and 94.7% decolorization, for Ostazin Yellow HR 86.0% COD removal and 46.1% decolorization, for Everzol Black N 88.0% COD removal and 74.4% decolorization, for Everzol Reactive Blue R S/P 85.6% COD removal and 61.0% decolorization, for Ostazin Red H 3B 84.8% COD removal and 24.3% decolorization is provided. The results obtained from the study support the purification of textile industry wastewater by membrane bioreactor system.
