Abstract (EN)
SUMMARY THE DYESTUFF REMOVAL FROM TEXTILE WASTEWATERS WITH COAGULATION METHOD Keywords: Kaolin, Lime, pH, Amount of Dose, Color Removal, Dyestuff, Chemical Settling In this study, refinement studies made with three different dyestuffs, which are using at the textile industry. Kaolin and lime used as coagulants. Color removal productivity of these three coagulants determined and discussed. Furthermore, lime and kaolin were tested in the wastewater, which was taken from a textile industry and appropriate pH and dose determined. The results of tests showed; The best color removal made with the chemical settling with kaolin at post-grey dyestuff at pH = 3 with 6 g/ 100ml which showed 100 % productivity. DR > AR > RR The best color removal made with the chemical settling with lime at post-grey dyestuff at pH = 4 with 0,1 g/100ml which showed 96,4 % productivity. According to the color removals; DR > RR > AR The color removal productivities in the wastewater in the textile industry at pH = 3 with 4 g/100ml kaolin is % 79,8, at pH = 7 with 1 g/100ml lime is % 93,9.
