Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study, 6 different dyestuffs, namely Reactive Black 8, Reactive Blue 72, Reactive Blue 13, Reactive Orange 12, Reactive Blue 49 and Reactive Violet 1 supplied from Eskişehir Sarar Tekstil factory, were used in the R&D studies of Microbiota Biotechnology. Color removal experiments were carried out by using an isolated bacterial isolate as a biosorbet. The aim of the thesis is to develop biological materials that can be used in the treatment of aquatic ecosystems contaminated with dyestuffs. For this reason, after the screening study with 6 dyestuffs, Reactive Violet 1 dyestuff was selected and studies were continued with this dyestuff. In accordance with the purpose of the thesis, color removal studies were carried out with unmodified biomass and magnetically enhanced biomass. With the results obtained at the end of the studies, it was possible to compare both biomass in terms of color removal. Conditions determined for unmodified biomass after optimization for reactive Violet 1; The dyestuff concentration and pH' are 50 ppm and pH 2.0, the shaking speed is 200 rpm, the contact time is 45 minutes and the biomass amount is 2.0 g/L. The biosorption efficiency calculated under the determined optimum conditions was determined as 97.01%. The optimum conditions determined for the magnetically enriched biomass are; The dyestuff concentration was determined as 50 ppm, pH 2.0, shaking speed of 200 rpm, contact time of 30 min and the amount of biomass 2.0 g/l. The biosorption efficiency obtained after the reaction carried out under optimum conditions was calculated as 99.48%. Finally, dye- treated and untreated SEM-EDX and FT-IR analyzes were performed for both biosorbents.
