Television, talk-show and women: A research on women issues on BBC News Arabic's show "Discussion point"

The media has a big impact on society, it can create awareness among the public regarding women rights and women issues, the topic of this study revolves around the treatment of talk shows for women's issues in foreign channels speaking in Arabic, based on that the research studies the way of treatment of women's issues in "Discussion Point" program on BBC News Arabic, as a british channel broadcasting in arabic. This study aims to know how talk shows address women's issues, the image these programs present about women issues. In this study, the episodes related to women's issues are studied in the "Discussion Point" program on the BBC News Arabic channel to know the women's issues discussed in this program, how this program presents various women issues, the geographical areas in which the "Discussion Point" program dealt with women's issues, the categories of women mentioned in the program , The image of the woman presented by the "Discussion Point" program. In the research, the episodes of the program were analyzed with the content analysis method in order to discuss how the "Discussion Point" Program discussed women's problems.
