Investigating effect of plectrum technique, used and recommended in basic bağlama teaching, on students skills and attidutes in playing bağlama

This research contains the comparative results of two teaching technique expressed as ?Used and Recommended Plectrum Technique in Basic Bağlama Teaching?.Primarily literature review is done and accordingly the preparations is made within the scope of the research. By the results of the questionnaire, applied to the expert tutorials at the music departments of universities and teaching on bağlama, the control group was created by determining the used plectrum technique. The experimental group was created according to ?Recommended Plectrum Technique?Sample of this study is students which are eligible to receive education on Turkish Folk Music Department of the State Conservatory of Afyon Kocatepe University, 2009- 2010 academic year. 16-week course consisting of a total of 32 courses in the basic bağlama education curriculum beginning, intermediate and advanced level consists of covering the issues. The course curriculum including 8, titles is applied to 4 students.While lessons continued at regular intervals 3 exams were applied. These examinations are in the process of training students in basic bağlama beginner, intermediate and advanced levels were within the scope of issues. Each exam in itself, composed of 4 phases, and each of it is prepared by the expert teachers (juries). By the scope of the results of the assessments and evaluations of the juries findings and comments section is created. As well as the exam juries to ensure the reliability of the study exam-held video recordings during the resting examinations reliability test was performed again by a different expert instructors. As a result of this phase, comparative information about examination results is presented in the conclusion section.
