Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted methodologically as a scale adaptation study to determine the validity and reliability of the Turkish form of the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillator Training and Placement Bilingual Questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 274 people who received first aid training at Tokat Provincial Health Directorate First Aid Training Centre. The data were collected using the Descriptive Information Form and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillator Training and Placement Bilingual Questionnaire. In order to determine the normal distribution of the data, kurtosis and skewness values from normality tests were examined. In the analysis of the data, number and percentage were used as descriptive statistics. Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Content Validity Index were calculated for the validity of the scale. For the reliability of the scale, Cronbach Alpha reliability analyses, test-retest and item correlation analyses were performed. SPSS 25.0 and Lisrel 8.2 programmes were used in the analysis of the research data. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the Turkish form of the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillator Training and Placement Bilingual Questionnaire is valid and reliable for the Turkish population.
