Prof. Dr. Selcen Ç FÇSUMMARYA research has been done on 45 boys and 45 girls who are learning at 2005 /2006 Term. at 8. class of II. stage of 3 schools in centre of Uşak in order to revealthe relationship between ?students? theoretical grammar knowledge and mistakes inwritten statements caused by grammar?, and quality of this if there is really arelationship.All the primary schools in Uşak centre form the body of study and 90 studentschosen from 3 schools primary schools in city center by random method according tothe success rate in OKS, form the pattern of this study.Grammar which is formed by chosing the question asked in 1985-5005 OKS,EML, AÖL, LGS, etc. in appropriate to the objects of ?Primary Education TurkishProgramme 7. class has been applied for measuring grammar level of studentsparticipated in research.The students participated in research have been asked to write composition inkind of otobiography, souvenir and free-style writing for measuring capabilities of theirpractising the grammar knowledge.Students? compositions have been examined from the point of mistakes inwritten statements caused by grammar by numarating the titles in ?Mistakes in writtenStatements Caused by Grammar? list which is formed by making the needed literaturesearching.The obtained datums have been evaluated.
