Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out between 2017-2019 in order to investigate the effect of hot water at 98 ° C obtained by solar method on Convolvulus arvensis L. Amaranthus retroflexus L. and Setaria viridis (L.) P. Beauv. Which are commonly found in hard surface areas of Iğdır province, on different developmental stages of the seweeds. The experiment was arranged as a randomized complete block design with four replicates to investigate the impact of three growth stage (20, 40 and 60 dayold weeds) and two energy dose swereused by adjusting tractor travel speeds (2 km and 4 km per hour). The used two energy dose swere 33,3 kJm-2at 2 km/h as first dose and 66,6kJm-2at 4 km/h as second dose. For evaluating the effect of hot water on the plant coverage areas, the taken photos with a digital camera was used with the "ImageJ' package program. As a result of the obtained data, it was found that the decrease in dry matter amount was more effective on C. arvensis above and below ground plant parts. The results of S. viridis and A. retroflexus above and below ground were similar. These cond dose was found to be more effective in two different doses (1st dose and 2nd dose). The first growth stage of weed swere generally more affected by hot water application than the second growth stages. As a result, it has been observedthata general decrease in dry matter amount of above ground and belowe ground parts of the three weed species.
