Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, walnut (juglans regia) shell as a biomass sample and polypropylene (PP), polyviniylchloride (PVC), low density polyethylene (LDPE) and scrap tyre rubber (STR) as a common used plastics samples were selected as raw materials. Kinetic analyses were done prior to Arrhenius and Coats Redfern method by practicing the data obtained from the experiments by Setaram Labsys-Evo thermogravimetric analyzer. The effects of blending ratio on the co-pyrolysis of ceviz and plastic wastes were determined by experiments done in 0:1, 1:2, 1:1, 2:1 and 1:0 blending ratio intervals. Also, the effects of heating rate on the co-pyrolysis of ceviz and plastic wastes were determined by experiments done in 5, 10, 15 and 20 oC/min heating rate interval. Calculations and the results for the experiments done were given.
