Abstract (EN)

Polymers are one of the most commonly used materials regardless of the application area because of their tunable properties such as electrical, mechanical, thermal, and optical. Most of the commercial polymers are electrically insulating, on the other hand, it does not restrict the usage of these insulating polymers in conductive systems. With the addition of conductive fillers such as carbon black (CB), carbon nanofibers (CNFs), carbon nanotubes (CNTs), graphene and their derivatives, conductive polymer nanocomposites can be produced. These are the most common carbon-based conductive nanofillers with different conductivity values. In the study, to obtain tunable electrical conductance CB, vapor grown CNFs and reduced graphene oxide were used with thermoplastic elastomer matrix in order to fabricate flexiblepressure sensors. With the morphological, electrical, and electromechanical characterization, the working range of the conductive polymer nanocomposites was determined.
