Abstract (EN)

In our country,the shipyards,which are one of the industry branches,which are continuous production,provide job opptunities to many people ande make great contributions to the country's economy, have been examined.In shipbuilding,maintenance-repair works,large energy and labor force are needed. Therefore, the number of the employees has been increasing significantly. As a result of this increase, it has been observed serious varition on the knowledge of employees, the works performed, the precation taken faced in danger in shipyards. As a result of this situation, occupational accidents and occupational diseases increase in shipyards. Especially in the shipyard as a result of wrong decisions or decisions taken fire, explosion, etc. events can be experienced. In this study, the risks and hazards faced the shipyards in the Marmara Region, particularly in Yalova, have been examined in order to determine the chemical risks faced during the field work of shipyards in the scope of Occupational Health and Safety and to correct corrective and preventive actions for the identified risks. For this purpose, 5 X 5 Matrix Method Risk Assessment was used to calculate the calculations for the determination of the explosive atmospheres to determine the current risks and measures to be taken based on the EN 60079-10-1: 2015 standart.
