Özet (EN)

The primary purpose of the study is to develop a valid and reliable scale for determining the arrangement-orderliness status of individuals and to determine the psychometric properties of this scale. Other purposes of the study are to examine the orderliness state of the individuals according to various variables (gender, age, marital status, educational status, employment status, profession, birth order in the family and their own orderliness definitions). For research purposes, a quantitative study was conducted in the general survey model. The study group of the research consists of individuals between the age 18-70. The trial scale with 52 items was applied to 260 adult individuals as the first application. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, a 4-component structure consisting of 15 items explaining 57% of the total varience was obtained. For the confirmatory factor analysis, 190 people were reached in the second application. As the result of the analysis, it has been found that this structure has a good level of adaptation. As a third application, 'Order' sub-dimension of the ''Faceted Inventory of the Five-Factor Personality'' and the ''Psychological Well-Being'' scale were applied to 53 people along with the final version of the scale for criterion-related validity. The internal consistency values of the scale was calculated as .82 and the test re-test correlation as .72. In the second part of the study, the data regarding the total scale and sub-dimensions were examined according to various variables. In terms of total scale, significant differences were found according to gender, marital status, family birth order and their own orderliness definitions; no significant differences were found according to age, educational status, working status and occupational groups. In general, it was found that female participants were more orderly than male participants; married individuals were more orderly than single individuals; individuals with the first and the middle child were more orderly than individuals with a single child. As a result of the superiority of the orderliness levels of the first children over median, last and only children, Adler's views on birth order and siblings characteristics were important evidence. The fact that individuals' own definitions of orderliness and the average score taken from the scale are also parallel is a finding that strengthens the consistency and validity of the scale. The research findings on the whole and sub-dimensions of the scale have been discussed within the framework of the relevant literature.
