Abstract (EN)
In this study, the biogas LFG also known as landfill gas which is a renewable energy source is analyzed. The formation of landfill gas and subsequent electrical energy production in the solid waste landfill and disposal facility in Erbaa District of Tokat is analyzed. And the landfill and methane gas amounts that can be obtained from the landfill in the coming years are calculated using the LandGEM-EPA mathematical model. Whats more, a coefficient is determined by comparing the production quantities of the storage area and the data of the model. In addition to these, said coefficient is applied to the calculated data of the coming years and some sort of LandGEM model was calibrated according to the facility conditions.
