Abstract (EN)

R&D (Research and Development) activities are an indispensable element of the economic policies of developed countries. In today's globalizing world, technology is rapidly changing and developing. In this process, private sector enterprises are going through various changes that will maximize their profits and meet the expectations of consumers. R & D activities and country policies towards R&D are becoming increasingly important in this sense. As a matter of fact, the importance and place of R&D in developing countries has been emphasized in recent years and the deficiencies in R&D have been tried to be overcome by means of legal regulations. In this context, in this study, financial incentives for R&D activities in Turkey within the framework of incentive policies are discussed. Within this framework, this study, incentive types in Turkey, rationale and importance of incentives, the place of incentives and R&D in country's economy and the regulations for R&D incentives are subjected to an in-depth examination. The findings reveal that complex legal regulations in Turkey cause various problems and in order to solve this complexity, R&D regulations should be systematically done.
