Abstract (EN)
Effect of the existentialism flow has started by translation of Jean Paul Sartre's poems in Turkish Literate. This effect has grown by a group of littérateurs called "oppressive literate" since 1950s. Tezer Özlü and Leyla Erbil who were involved into aforementioned generation have been leading writers revealing the reflection of existentialism philosophy in Turkish literate. The aim of the present study was to detect the traces of existentialist flow in novels of Tezer Özlü and Leyla Erbil within the frame of oppressiveness, rebellion, death, nihilism, individualism, liberty, sexuality, alienation, flight and fear and to discuss the effects of existentialist philosophers and writers such as Kierkegaard, Kafka, Sartre, Beauvoir, Beckett and Pavese.
